Ursula Carsen, Registered Psychotherapist
An experienced Toronto psychotherapist, I am registered with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO). I have studied and worked in Canada, the U.S.A., and in Europe. With a diploma from the Centre for Training in Psychotherapy (CTP) and other depth psychology based training programs, my education is rooted in the Psychodynamic and Jungian traditions of practicing psychotherapy. I am a Clinical member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapy (CAPT) and past board Director (2012-2016) of the Psychotherapy Referral Service Toronto (PRS).
I am available for clinical supervision to educators, therapists and student therapists.
My ongoing professional development includes studies and contemporary methods of healing the effects of trauma and PTSD (Post Traumatic Stress Disorder).
Working with dreams, metaphor and the deep unconscious; dealing with anxiety, depression, extreme stress, loss and chronic pain, addictions, self-esteem and eating disorders, pain and despair arising from trauma and past abuse, Adult Children of Holocaust Survivors, major life transitions, cultural, generational and parenting issues, empty nest and emotional stagnation.
